IPOs and Capital Markets
Gordon MRM has advised participants in the three largest IPOs undertaken in Ireland since the financial crisis.
In 2018, the firm advised Glenveagh Properties PLC on a c€200 million capital raise. In the same year, the firm advised Permanent TSB Group Holdings PLC on the sale of a Non-Performing Loan Book for c€1.3 billion.
In 2017 the firm was appointed to advise the Department of Finance in respect of the IPO of AIB PLC, the largest IPO in Europe in 2017.
Later that year the firm was appointed to advise Glenveagh Properties PLC on its successful IPO.
In 2015 the firm advised Permanent TSB Group Holdings plc on its IPO - the first by any Irish Bank since the financial crisis.
The firm has also worked with participants engaged on various capital market activities including the sale of non-core assets and loan books, the sale of Irish Government Debt and the sale of specialist securities. Clients in this area include the NTMA, NAMA, Permanent TSB.

The firm's founder, Ray Gordon, worked in-house with Ireland's largest life and pensions company before setting up on his own. Senior Consultant David Clerkin worked in Internal Audit and branch banking with Bank of Ireland before moving to journalism and then PR where he spent a short time as Head of Communications with Danske Bank Ireland.

Gordon MRM has huge experience of working with clients in the health sector. The firm works with the Irish Medical Organisation and the Irish Dental Association. Previously the firm worked with the Irish Pharmacy Union for many years and Ray Gordon advised the Association of Irish Optometrists.
