Statement: MyHome.ie brings “live” pricing to website
PROSPECTIVE BUYERS WILL NOW BE ABLE TO TRACK PRICE CHANGES AS THEY HAPPEN
Wednesday 25th April 2012. Leading property website MyHome.ie has launched a new facility on its website which allows users to track price changes on a property live as they happen.
The ‘Live Price Change’ feature – the first of its kind in Ireland – will track the changing prices of properties on MyHome.ie in real time and provide them to the public via the website. Users will be able to filter by county and locality.
Prospective buyers will also be able to receive e mail alerts if the price of a property they are interested in changes or if it falls inside or outside their price range.
The ‘Live Price Change’ feature will also allow potential buyers to track the history of price changes for any given property along with any recent price changes for other properties in the area. On the website this information will be shown on the brochure page of each home.
Angela Keegan, Managing Director of MyHome.ie said the new feature would provide users with a wealth of real time information as well as bringing much needed transparency to asking prices; “The ‘Live Price Change’ feature will empower buyers and sellers alike by placing up to date, accurate and relevant information at their fingertips. Here to fore if buyers and sellers wanted to get good information about property prices in a given area they might ring around several agents or study property reports and sales information on the internet. Now all that information will be accessible in an easy to use format on our website. The big plus for agents is that they will be freed up to manage their businesses more efficiently and more effectively”.
The ‘Live Price Change’ is the latest in a range of new features MyHome.ie has added to the website recently. It follows the launch of a new iPad app while in February it brought out a ‘live’ Rent or Buy Calculator. It also has the most up to date iPhone and Android apps on the market.
