13 Jul - Statement by Paul Cooke, Managing Director Sunday Business Post

5.30pm Wed 13th July 2016. Three years after joining with Conor Killeen and his team at Key Capital to rescue the Sunday Business Post from a perilous position, I have sold my shareholding in the business to my fellow shareholders, resigned my position as Managing Director and am moving on to new challenges.

The Sunday Business Post is in excellent shape and in very good hands with Conor and his team. I believe we have achieved more with the paper in the past three years than anyone would have thought possible and I look forward to its continued growth and success for years to come. Ireland needs a strong, independent media and the turnaround at the Sunday Business Post should encourage everyone in the industry.

My immediate plan is to take a break with my very patient wife and family and I look forward to returning to new challenges in the months ahead.

My best wishes go to everyone at the Sunday Business Post. They are a great team and they should be very proud of their work week-in, week-out.
